why no region 1 dvd
What is the hold up? There's been 2 different UK releases but still no damn R1 release. Is it some type rights issue that is holding back a USA release?
shareI got a region 1 copy from EBay. It's from Korea, but it plays on U.S. DVD players. I picked it up for less then $10. Give it a try.

shareIt looks OK, a little dark. But I don't think the quality of the film was all that good in the first place. Anyway, in my opinion, it's better than nothing - until they come out with a Region 1 release.
shareAs there is a R2 2 disc special edition...why do you just not buy that?
I never unsterstand why people complain about a DVD not bein avaiailable in their region when they know it is in another...but do not buy it.

The Korean version is a Region 0 DVD. The two-disc Region 2 version from Britain is superior overall. Here's a comparison:
