I haven't seen "L.A. Takedown" yet, but is there a Neil McCauley character? If so, who plays him?

His name is Patrick McLaren in L.A. Takedown and he is played by Alex McArthur.

I don't know who wrote the credits for IMDB on this one, but they're incorrect and misleading at best (McLaren's one of the main characters and he's listed near the end of the credits???).

Patrick McClaren doesn't sound as good as Neil McCauley now does it.

FYI, The "Neil McCauley" character in "Heat" (1995) and Patrick McClaren character from "LA Takedown" are both based on a real life criminal named....."Neil McCauley"! See the post below for more information.

The reason he was further down the credits was because this was a pilot for a TV series, as he wouldn't be in anymore episodes he won't be the second character listed.

Well as he dies at the end (differently in Heat) he would be viewed as a guest star so all the series regulars would have come first and then the guest stars. Odd that though isn't it. The regulars get sod all time on the screen and they come first lol.
