Trashing This Film Because You Can't Find It On DVD?

I just watched L.A Takedown again last night on a pristine DVD +RW transfer and could watch this film forever, but I fear that other reviewers are trashing this film because it will never be made available to the viewing public.

Scott Plank and Alex MacArthur do an incredible job in bringing these characters to life. Failed pilot do you say? Heat was the expanded version of this TV movie and there would not have been enough substance or story for a TV series.

In addition if it was a series the characters would have to change every episode and they would not have had the strength that this film has.

So trash this film if you want to, but the loyal fanbase of this 1989 TV movie will love it forever.

Its been available to the public for ages. I bought my R1 dvd copy a good few years ago and since then its had a proper R2 release.

Haha, OP are you serious? Plank sucked!!! I agree it's an entertaining (but still inferior to "Heat") movie. I think people trash the movie cause parts of the movie are trash.
