Streaming version missing two scenes!

The version currently running on Amazon streaming (as of April 2017) is missing at least two scenes that appear in other versions.

The scenes come early, back to back, in the first 15 minutes of the movie. The first one shows Kilmer talking to a client -- a middle aged father -- who has hired Kilmer to track down his runaway daughter. Kilmer knows the father's been sleeping with the girl. Rape is strongly implied. Kilmer confronts the guy with this knowledge, and even though Kilmer is accusing him of sexual assault, the guy still goes ahead and pays Kilmer his fee. (A bit of a stretch right there) Kilmer gives the dude a location for the girl.

The next deleted scene takes place immediately after the rapist-dad exits Kilmer's office. Kilmer hands the cash payment he just received to his secretary, asking her to please get the money to the guy's daughter, minus 200 dollars for herself. And it is indicated he gave the father the wrong location re: her whereabouts.

The two scenes do not detract from the main story, so in that regard they are "cutable," but they definitely enhance Val Kilmer's character, so it was a shame to see them go.

That's interesting. I recently got the Olive Films blu-ray released in 2016. Those scenes are not in it. It has a run time of 94 minutes, which also matches the iTunes digital version and the 2000 release on DVD by MGM.

Where did you see the version with those scenes?

I saw the film in the theater and a few times since then - I don't recall that scene at all.
