Who is the artist that sang "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" at the close of the movie?

This is too funny, I'm trying to find out the same thing. I strained my eyes as the movie was going off and I think it said Dinah Washington, but I could be wrong.....

I registered for this site to get this information. I couldn't read the credits off of EMYS, but Dinah Washington sounds like a winner. It definitely sounds like her. Great singer.

I just watched it too on EMYS. Credits shrank too much to read artist's name. I thought maybe Nancy Wilson. Hauntingly beautiful voice. Please post if you find out for sure.

You're right! It is Dinah Washington. I googled "smoke gets in your eyes Dinah Washington," and it gave me a link where I could listen to the recording, and sho'nuff, it's that beautiful voice from the end of the movie. Guess I'll be buying a new CD tomorrow. Thanks for the info. :-)

In the credits it looked like the last name (very small on large-screen television) was "Peterson"....?

The singer is Dinah Washington and it's unfortunate the credits are so inelligible to read the name.

same here, dinah's rendition is breathtaking, the song's a great standard but I had not ever heard it sound so good, such an interesting reading of it.
