Great Christmas album

Hello everyone, I had purchased the Carpenters Christmas Portrait CD a while back, and this year for the first time, I really noticed their brilliance. Very astute choices of songs and excellent renditions, and it occurred to me that it might very well end up being one of their most enduring legacies. The same can be said of the composers whose work they chose: Leroy Anderson, Irving Berlin, Victor Herbert, Sammy Cahn, Jule Styne, Victor Young, Johann Bach, & Tchaikovsky. All of them were very popular in their day, but have slowly faded away except for their Christmas music which we hear every year. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!
It's still hard to believe that Karen died so young, but her beautiful voice endures on recordings forever...

Best regards,
