What else makes me laugh

Larusso even into part III still wrestling with the decision if he should go to college or not then ultimately doing something stupid with his college savings.

reply

Probably didn't help that he went through yet another off-screen relationship break-up too. Daniel not able to catch a break.

reply

Well it must have worked out for him seeing as he is Californias biggest Audi dealer now!

reply

Ralph Macchio being 60 lbs heavier than he was in the first movie is pretty comical. The sight of his rear end in a pair of jeans is enough the crack up an entire room. I've seen it happen!!!!

reply

Yeah, watching this again tonight. Its embarrassing how unlikeable he is in this film. Literally whines the entire time. On top of that he makes terrible decision after terrible decision. No way in hell he is beating Mike Barnes either. And a double hell no that he is ever dating a Robyn Lively type of chick. She could do a thousand times better. Makes me sick.

reply

ahahah yah but he was whiney af in the first flick too.. just overall hilarious to watch.
felt bad he never hooked up with ANY of the girls : (

reply

I think he lost his v-card to Ali.

reply

I don't know he didn't sound like someone who's had sex In Karate Kid II

reply

same.. I "want" to believe he hooked up with Ali @ the end of Part 1 but highly doubtful

reply

As a guy who got laid in the 80s I assure you Whineielle was still a virgin by the end of the trilogy

“I love it when he pounds him”

reply

Whinielle is still a virgin in Cobra Kai!

reply

Was he really 60lbs heavier? He was definitely chubby.

reply

60 lbs is a lot so not sure if it was quite that much but I gotta say the wardrobe department didn't do him any favors with the clothes they were putting him in lol.

reply

Agreed.

In reality it was a very clever piece of writing to show the stark contrast between Larusso and his enemy, Mike Barnes. Larusso gave all his money to help Miyagi start a business, whereas Barnes demanded 50% ownership of his teacher Terry Silver's business.

reply

Friendship and loyalty vs Greed & Power.

reply

Yes, the difference was quite stark. One aligns himself with a filthy rich proven businessman, the other pisses away his meager life savings on a money pit with no chance of success.

reply

There is another example nobody ever talks about. The humility factor.

When Larusso is training with Silver, he did that back roll and silver asked if Miyagi taught him that. Larusso very quickly said no. Later on Kreese and silver are watching Barnes in the tournament. Impressed with Barnes' moves, Kreese asks "Did you teach him that?" Silver, being proud of his student, replies "No, no, that one's all his."

Silver gives credit where it is due. Larusso takes credit for everything. Another example of Larusso taking credit is in Cobra Kai when he told Johnny "It was just a little old me in the All Valley," with no credit being given to Miyagi.

reply

In Whinielle's defense when he "won" in KK3 he held up Miyagay's arm and not his. He knew his sad excuse for a win was in no way shape or form due to his skills. The win was solely because Miyagay inspired him to pull a fake-out geisha dance out of his ass so feminine it would make Samgerard blush.
