Rod Daniel (1942-2016)

I just rewatched K-9 for the first time in ten years, give or take. Miles Goodman's amazing (unreleased) score still gives me goosebumps when Jerry Lee chases Halstead in the car-carrier. Amazon's HD version is a worthy upgrade from my VHS and DVD, but a Blu-ray would be nice. I've been wanting one since the format was announced!

Like always, I check IMDb after watching a film to see what certain actors / directors have been up to, and it would appear that director Rod Daniel left us less than a month ago! He was an avid photographer (roddaniel.com) and taught film classes in his later years.

Rest in peace, sir, and thanks for the memories.

I just watched K-9 for the first time in about 20 years. I also just watched Teen wolf a few days ago after about 5 years and then I checked up on the director too since I realized both films were directed by the same guy and was sad to see that he had died last month.
