The Best Scene.......

Great film, by far my favorite part was where Nick (played by Christopher Walken) turns up to drink with Martha, Dave and Megs . This scene where Nick is screaming "Mao!" at Martha as they are playing Russian Roulette is tense as hell. When Dave gets his turn and ends up shooting himself with the solitary bullet it is very shocking. I thought it had to happen though, so Megs and Martha could get back together. The way this scene then transitions in an edit to the beach where they scatter Dave's ashes is moving but also strangely funny. Hilarious when the ashes blow back in Megs face "what is your major malfunction Martha!", Classic and probably De Niro's best line in any film. Also, Megs classic line to Martha after this - "Charlie Don't surf!" is one of the other most memorable lines. That this line precedes Megs and Martha actually going surfing with the young Vietnamese boy (brilliantly played against type by R. Lee Ermey) they adopted earlier only makes the ending more ironic.
