The negative comments about this movie seem to...

...come from people who at Christmas time,
would only complain of the reindeer droppings;
and only rejoice when Santa Claus got tangled
in the high power lines.

These are the same people that hate Disney world, because it is the happiest place on earth.

My post is based on a gag-game of picking the suggested caption
that fits your own opinion, from a movie still.
The still in question was from Eugene Lourie's 1960"Gorgo";
it shows London people, among them Bill Travers and young Vincent
Winter, looking up in horror at the monster destroying their city
a-la Godzilla.

There were three captions to choose from :
1_ "It's Good Santa Claus doing his rounds !"
2_ "Ah, those reindeers ! Every year it gets worse !"
3_ "Look who is getting entangled in the high-tension power lines !"

Pick 1, you are considered hopeless; 2, there is still hope for you;
and with 3, you are well equipped mentally and morally to go about
in our world.

i don't remember in which magazine it appeared, but it was a slick
CHRISTmas 1966 issue.
