How can I obtain a copy of one piece of music in this film?

STORY: A member of a band I used to co-manage, Thin White Rope, was involved with the recording of music for this film. Lead singer/guitarist, Guy Kyser, wrote the following in a fanclub newsletter, dated May 1991: "During our short tour of Italy in July 1989, members of the Naples jazz-pop band Avion Travel (fellow visitors to the U.S.S.R. in '88) called us up. They were working on the soundtrack to Lina Wertmuller's new film featuring Rutger Hauer, Nastassia Kinski and Peter O'Toole. Wertmuller wanted an 'American voice' reciting her poetry in the film. I wouldn't call my voice memorable - I left Texas when I was 2 and never lived in NYC - but things worked out O.K. After our Rome show, her editor gave me a tape of Avion Travel's instrumental theme for the movie, and we talked over subjects till 4 in the morning. The words and melody appeared over 3 days, and I sang over the track when we returned to Rome. Italians have reported that the song is indeed used in the movie, but I don't know the name of the film or where it has been released. I guess we're inviting legal trouble over the rights to this, but this is a matter of music, for gosh sakes. The original instrumental, with piano and sax, is a masterpiece of lounge jazz. We did our best. Since the origins of the song are so confused, this track is largely the inspiration for the EP title Squatter's Rights."

So my question is: How can I HEAR this track? I'd totally forgotten about the track until TODAY, when I was finally able to register the band's name as a domain, www.thinwhiterope.com. If you wish to contact me directly about it, I'm the official "webmaster" of the site.

Thanx!

The only 2 rare official releases of the music from this film are listed here:

The song you mention is probably the one called "HOW MANY CLOCKS THERE ARE IN MANHATTAN".
