Does anyone know what version of the song "I Can See Clearly Now" is played in the movie? By who... that is. I have found reference to 60 versions.

the version in the film is by johnny nash. you can find it on his best of johnny nash cd. this is one of my all time favorite songs. most of the time when you hear "i can see clearly now" on the radio,it is the remake by jimmy cliff but no one can top johnny nashs' orginal version that is in the movie "immediate family".

Johnny Nash wrote the song and his version was a Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit in 1972. It got plenty of airplay in the 70's.
