Sweet film, fantastic memories
I know that "Igla" may not be liked by many people, especially in the West, but for someone who is born in Alma-Ata this film is something special. I was born two years before this film came out and was just five years old when the USSR fell apart, but my brother who was a teenager during that time told me a lot of cool things about the eighties. He met Viktor Tsoi, sat with him in his dressing room,Troi was adjusting his guitar, right before his concert in Alma-Ata and he knew some of the other persons who acted in the film. So for me "Igla" is a wonderful chance to go back to the eighties and watch and hear my favourite singer. Eh, I really miss that time. I wonder if anyone else has some nostalgic feelings about that time?
Viktor Tsoi zhiv! ;)
Cheers!
