What did the ending mean

its been awhile since i saw this film but even when i first saw it i didnt under stand the end, all i remember is that there are only two survivors, a man and a woman( i cant remember names) and at the very end the man hugs the woman to give her comfort and says somthing like"dont worry sweetheart, people dont turn into werewolves" and then it cuts to a scene of a full moon and you can hear a wolf howling in the distance, then it cuts to the end credits. i have never understood what sense all of this make, could someone please tell me if they know"

The Woman (Mary Lou Summers) was the werewolf throughout the movie; she just kills the man off screen.

You think the movie sucked because you couldn't pick up on subtle details made obvious to the viewers?

As soon as David says the "People don't turn into werewolves" line, it cuts to a close up of Mary Lou with wolf yellow eyes, smiling deviously at the camera, then to the full moon with the howling.

Is it THAT hard to pick up on?

Not only was she the werewolf, the movie is a fairly decent knockoff of the classic TEN LITTLE INDIANS, which has been filmed no fewer than five times as of 2006. It also is the best of the sequels, which is not saying much, I realize.

I was thinking that earlier after she got sick.

I believe it meant that Mary Lou was the werewolf. Wild guess.

i understand why the movie could be inspired by And Then There Were None but i wouldnt go as far as a rip off. 10 strangers trapped in a remote location and one of them is a killer. thats about it.

reply

Wow if you couldnt pick up on the fact that Mary Lou was the wolf by the devious smile she gives the camera at the end...i feel pity for you.

Not only that, but the Count's statement to "check the one who looks the most innocent" let the cat out of the bag for me when I watched the movie. You had to know who it was after that hint.

reply

Yea, after hearing the Count. I knew right away, as well.

There were several scenes (when both blonde haired dudes bought it) where she was either in the same room, or directly behind them down a tunnel. She was the only one who could've done it, and adding to the fact that she is 'in her bed' half the movie was basically screaming at the audience that she was the werewolf. The grin at the end seals it.

If that's not enough, there were two characters left, and the whole movie, we see bits and pieces of a werewolf killing people...the movie eludes to her being the one of the two who was the killer.
