who doesn't think the acting is bad?

lots of people say the acting is bad. I think it's ok. I don't know why people think the acting is bad. does anyone agree?

The acting isn't it's strongest suit but films aren't about the acting only.

The worst acting come from the people playing Jonathan and Mary Lou. It's God awful. The other actors weren't too bad at all. I've seen much worse...watch the other sequels if you want to see some really bad acting!

The Count and Dr. Peak had the most talent outta the bunch. Mary Lou and Johnathan were horrible though. Everyone else did GREAT!

I really didn't have any problems with the actors.
I think they did okay,
If there was any bad actors, it was Elizabeth Shé.
I can not stand her.
How she made it in any other movie is beyond me.

Everybody's badmouthing her on this thread, but without Elizabeth Shé (aka Marylou) there would be no exceptional part in the hot tub scene, if you know what I mean.

reply

I wonder how hairy she is...down there.

The actors didn't do a bad job. The movie was just a drag.

The guy playing Richard was bad, as were Mary Lou and Jonathan. The best of the bunch were Phillip Davis and Mary Stavin.

I love to love my Lisa.

Not with your acting.

Other than Mary Lou, I didn't notice any acting I considered too dreadful. Most of them were convincing enough that they didn't take me out of the film.

Elisabeth She may be a bad actress. But, I think the director (Neal Sundstrom, he's on FB) wanted her to 'act' that way as it re-inforced the idea that she couldn't be the villain or villainess. The acting overall was uneven. The actor who played Richard was pretty bad, you can also see him in ShowGirls. Mary Stavin was probably my favourite. The black actress i liked but they killed her soon, she was also in the original V mini-series. I like Victoria Caitlin, she's also in Twin Peaks I believe.
