The bit where the two love birds fly out of the chimney and around Bagley's pretty funny, but supremely weird. To me it's weirder than the boil since it's so out of the blue. Is there a point to it or is it just supposed to be funny? It is a pretty good parody of the sickening cuteness you see in all too many ads.

I think it's supposed to be a sign that he's off his trolley, but yes, it's totally out of left field. A Big-Lipped Alligator Moment.
