Poort Anty! :( still makes me sad

I remember crying as a kid when it died.

reply

I've personally never cried when Anty dies, but it's definitely a sad scene.

I didn't remember Anty or his death until I watched it again today. It was very sad. Even though Anty is an insect it reminds us that animals are faithful and loyal in protecting us. In Anty's case it cost him his life :(

As a kid? I cry now.

Sad scene indeed. What's sadder is that it's almost like the scorpion knew what it was doing and it was aware that it was doing something bad. I would have loved to see a scene later after the kids are normal sized, find that scorpion, lock it in a glass cage, and incarcerate him for life!

I'm so scared your little head will come off in my hands!

That part still gets to me!

It's a sad scene. Maybe the scorpion eventually went off and died from his wounds.

Insects generally get quite a bad rap in films, usually they want to destroy humanity in some way, but Anty was nice.
