I remember watching this movie when I was little and only seeing it on very rare occasions since then. But my favorite scene is when they're coming to Oakland and as soon as they come out of the tunnel Guns n Roses "welcome to the jungle" is played and there's cops (and for some reason) a dead horse on the sidewalk. I'm from Oakland and I know it gets a bad rep, so this was pretty laughable.
shareI remember seeing this film once years ago, and I remember finding it suprisingly moving. Espesially I liked the way Whoopi kept seing Jesus, and at the end she actually did see him, thoughhe was really some person dressing up for the Mardi Gras. Very symbolic considering she was dying at that point.

I just watched this on Netflix and I was waiting for this scene since I love Guns n Roses... but that was not actually the song that plays! Not that it matters but its Living In The Jungle by Richie Havens.
