A very early ‘90s angst-y kind of movie. It signaled the end of the John Hughes teen drama era and brought in darker themes with hopeless and evil characters.

80s teen comedy usually fun. this movie is mean spirit. very differ from usual 80s teen comedy. i do not enjoy this movie as much even though you can see keelai in this film as martha dumptruck.

Take another look at Weird Science and Sixteen Candles. Heathers is about bumping off mean-spirited people.
