I was maybe 7 or so, and I remember being very disturbed by something in this movie, I can't quite remember what though. I think it may have been the scene where her mother committed suicide, I just remember a little girl screaming MOTHERRR or something

Didn't she commit suicide the day of Sarah's father's funeral? That would disturb a child. The movie was quite scary anyway. I think it was the house.

I think the scene your talking about happens right before her mother commits suicide. They have returned from the funeral for Sarah's father, and her mother wants Sarah to admit that she liked her father better and to tell her "I wish you were dead." Her mother is insane, and she shakes Sarah until she says it. It's a very creepy scene in a very good TV movie.
