Don shanks is short to be play Michael at 6'1

Cause George p Wilbur, Tony moran, Chris Durand and brad loree were all 6'2 which is supposed to be Michael height who agrees.

Don't forget Dick Warlock. Height doesn't really matter depending on the camera angle. You can make anyone look taller at the right angle. The main thing was body size and Shanks was bigger and didn't need a hockey guard. He may have had padding for various stunts, but that's it. Even 20+ years later he's a big dude.

Michael should never be Kane Hodder huge like he was for Rob Zombie's films. Those were a bit much. Personally never seen the men you listed actual heights. Where did you find that out?

It is listed on some Fan Sites, maybe even on the Trivia Section too but I agree, Camera Angles and Lighting matter more (Basically shooting Scope and Cundey)... But yeah, the 7ft tall Myers doesn't work for me. The fear of 'The Shape' was never about height with me. Either way, 6'1 or 6'2, no big deal. The Mask probably irritates me the most with the idea of a "Consistent" Michael Myers.

I'll have to check that out. They don't officially post it on Imdb or official sites. Others are fan theories unless you ask the person themselves. The masks are simple, 1. different designers. 2. rights issues with the likeness, both Shatner and Don Post. 3. Fitting it to the person you cast's head. Shanks and others have different size heads. Wilbur played it twice, hence 6 was the closest to the original. Otherwise, you have to take all these factors into account to get a similar look. Plus story. 5's mask was storylined in the elements for a year. Wear and tear expected. Somewhere between 5 and 6 he picked up a fresh mask.

Yeah, I know the Mask History(Most Halloween fans do anyway I suppose), I actually have always loved The Shape in 6, story aside, just the overall look and that's more of what I'm getting at. The Mask itself has gone through insane changes due to wear and tear, sometimes as simple as sticking it in a back pocket between takes etc. It's understandable, especially with budget restraints and studios caring more about rushing production and other nonsense. I'm just saying that if I had to pick one gripe in the Continuity of the Myers Character, it would definitely be the Mask. Part 2 was bad at times but again, Cundey hid it well. There aren't too many shots that make it noticeable(The first kill, with the up close look is just bad), however, other shots are pretty good. The flaws are hidden. Resurrection had good intentions but the eyebrows were ridiculous. H20 obviously had its Problems, admittedly of course. 4 and 5 were just Awful IMO(Again, strictly speaking Masks) and Zombie just had to do what he always does, even though the Mask had potential under the scuffs and dirt. I think 4 and 5 were just lazy. Regardless, it'd be my main issue but I understand the complexity of Making a Film so it is what it is. The SIZE of Myers is easy enough to look past for me, because the Mask is what makes him. The trucker gear to a lesser extent as well.

Tony Moran was in one scene. If we're going by that logic, Debra Hill who donned the mask and overalls for one scene is by far the shortest Michael Myers. I think we need to stick to the ones that played Michael throughout the film, not one scene.

Poor reply

Debra just played his hand reaching for a knife

Nick castle donned the outfit for the majority of the first film. He is 5' 10"

But Tony Moran's scene is obviously more important and memorable than lol Debra Hill's hand as he's standing toe to toe with Jamie Lee curtis when she pulls off his mask, and she is 5' 7" and was probably wearing platform 70's shoes....

Dick Warlock in Halloween II (1981) was 5' 8 1/2"
