The Waterworks flowed

Okay,I know that these movies are comedies and I laugh everytime, but I must admit, I was nearly bawling ( well not really, but you know what I mean ) when Xixau (?) is reunited with his children. I guess his storyline although funny at times, is a tear jerker just because it's so touching and honest about how much he loves his children and the only thing he wants is to be with them again. Of course, you also understand as a grown up how much danger there is for him- his bows and arrows are no match for the poacher's guns, yet his bravery and love shine through. yeah I especially start to tear up when they run to him and they're laughing and it just shows such a wonderful, simplistic moment.

So yeah, does anyone else get that way?

Sure do. Because it's pure.

I think Ebert's review starts to get at the appeal of GMBC I and II.
