So who was Sigourney's baby daddy?

Presumably Peter. That was the original idea but was left out of the movie. Furthermore, the "stiff" from the first movie (hinted as being the ex-husband) seemingly did not fight for custody of oscar. I think Dana had an affair with Peter, the baby is his, Dana knows it but is concerned about Peters ability as a father. This is why she not only allows Peter to slide right in as father to Oscar but she never elaborated on what her marital problems were and why it made sense for the ex-husband to move out of the country.
Of course that's all a guess but it just makes sense to me
I think it's "The Stiff" (I bet), from the first movie, played by Timothy Carhart.
Something was mentioned (not by name) that a fellow musician Dana knew saw an opportunity in Europe and took it, pretty much passively acknowledging that he did his own thing. We can guess it was this guy, but I guess we'll never know, tho others have suggested it was indeed him in other threads.
Yeah it was "The Stiff" from the first movie. The guy snorting that stuff up his snooty nose. I give him a nickname "Snooty."
shareIf Oscar ever asked Dana questions about his father, she probably would have told him that he died because she probably wouldn't have known what else to do at the time and she probably wouldn't have wanted him to think that just because his father ditched them meant that he didn't love him which probably would have been a tough call and when Oscar was all grown up, Dana was gonna tell him the truth.
