This very silly comedy...

... which stars Anita Mui and Andy Lau, was released the same year that they were both starring in the very serious historical piece called Chuan Dao Fang Zi (Kawashima Yoshiko AKA Last Princess of Manchuria). In that film, Anita Mui plays a woman who was born of the Manchu royal family, was sent to Japan, became a spy, was appointed general of the Machuko Army and was later tried for treason and shot by the Chinese Nationalists.

This film has the cheapest costume budget, the silliest script and the flimsiest storyline. The other movie is beautifully shot and does a good job of telling a complicated true story. I wonder which one made more at the box office.
