Your favorite comical plot hole?

There are just so many to choose from.I have to go with the beginning when the boat Jason is on drifts from the lake to next to the ship on the ocean.I still get a chuckle out of the shear ridiculousness of it.I don't know whether the writer wasn't intelligent enough to know what a lake was or if he or she just thought the audience wouldn't be intelligent enough to know.

My second favorite that always makes laugh is the scene where the head teacher guy runs into the building to escape Jason whose still outside only to find Jason inside the building waiting to throw him out a window.Either Jason can teleport or he knew a damn fast shortcut.

Implausible perhaps, but not a plot hole. Crystal Lake is supposed to be in New Jersey. The ocean ship could have been docked in e.g., Newark Bay, which is a back chamber of New York Harbor; New York Harbor being where the ship was probably headed.

The deck hand said that Jason came up the river, which could have been, e.g., the Hackensack River, which connects to Newark Bay, which connects to New York Harbor. Crystal Lake could be one of the many lakes and ponds that are part of the Hackensack River watershed - https://hpgreenteam.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/watershed-map-150.gif

Edit: I just looked at the Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco website (which is where the original Friday the 13th was filmed), and it says:

"The camp has also been used as a launching point for canoe trips on the Delaware River" - https://nobebosco.org/about/about-the-camp

The Delaware River is a major river which connects to Delaware Bay, which of course, opens directly into the Atlantic Ocean. The ship could have been docked in Delaware Bay, or even in the Delaware River (it is plenty big enough to support major ship traffic, for example - https://www.ceoe.udel.edu/oilspill/shipping.html).

Good research. Clarifies a lot.

Oh…. So you’re one of those infamous people confused about what plot holes are. Your reputations precedes you people. At least on the Jason boards.
