Tamara should've made it to Manhattan

They were setting up all the major characters as the one's who get to the city! Tamara should have been one of them.

1. It would have been hilarious as she was one of the only ones who was not gonna pass
2. She would have added hilarious bitchy and sassy moments during the scenes.

Yeah! I agree. She was my favorite anyway.

Tamara is my favorite F13 character, followed by Melissa, so yes i agree :) but i did love her death scene for some reason, even though it wasnt very graphic.

reply

Tamara is my favorite character in the movie, I have no idea why they had to kill her off so fast. She was like a female J.R. Ewing, scheming and conniving and plotting to destroy people.

"When was that?"

Melissa made it so close to the end, giving us more time to hate her. Tamara was supposed to be hateable, but there wasn't enough character development.

She coerced Eva into snorting coke, pushed Rennie in the ocean, set up Charles and used Wayne. She just seemed to do too many nasty things in a short time.

I just posted pretty much exactly this statement. Great to see others who would have liked to have seen more Tamara. It would have elevated the movie to easily the "funnest" Friday!

You say you want to see more of Tamara (Sharlene Martin)?

I thought it was a shame the way she died and clearly, not because she was a saint. Tamara was a horrible bitch, perhaps one of the meanest characters in the entire F13 series, but she was also pretty clever and I was expecting more from her. I mean, she didn't even try to run away from Jason and the way she just stood on the floor crying like a little girl, waiting to be killed didn't really fit too well with her character.

And yes, I agree: she should have made it to Manhattan. It would have been fun to see Tamara trying to save her own ass and not giving a damn about the rest, haha. I would even dare to say that Tamara should have survived until the end of the movie. All final girls are supposed to be nice, I get it, but I'm not saying that Rennie should have died, I just think it would have been interesting if they BOTH survived.

IF she did make it to Manhattan , imagine how much more interesting the run in with the gang bangers would have been ? Would they have taken Rennie still ? Would any1 bother trying to save Tamara from them? ect. She died way too early and I hate how she just layed there crying waiting to die , she seemed stronger than that

No! Tamara's death was hilarious, Jason throwing her nakedness into the bathroom mirror where she bonks her head! LOL!

Wayne and JJ should have made it to Manhattan.

reply

Meh at Wayne and JJ. They were a bit cheesy.
Tamara was just hilarious. And it just would've been funny cause she was told in the film she wouldn't get to see New York. How funny if she was one of the few who did .

reply

I liked JJ as I have a thing for punk girls, Tamara was kind of annoying, so I was grateful when she met her demise.

To bad Eva didn't get more screentime :(.
Same with Miles, most of his scenes where it's revealed he was diver were cut.

If you read the Manhattan script you'll get to see where Miles's other scenes were supposed to be.
I just read it like a day ago, it was good, kinda like getting an extended version of the film. Eva got more scenes too! :).

reply

I remember reading that script, That scene with Rennie tackling Jason sounded pretty cool.

reply

I think Tamara should have died the way she did, she would have been such a hindrance in Manhattan

Shame that her and Eve didn't get more development in their characters
