Food of the Gods Part 3... Anybody???

I saw this one before part 1 when I was probably about 10 (when it was released). As a kid, I thought this movie rocked. As an adult, I still like this flick. Even if it is ridiculously bad. When I was a kid I really was looking forward to a third movie with a rampaging Bobby infecting other kids and having a bunch of oversized-mutant children terrorizing the country. If memory serves correctly, I believe that storyline was also used in the original story for Food of the Gods (books). Nevertheless, would have been good low-budget garbage!

Well, it's been nearly 20-21 years now....the chances for a sequel (Food of the Gods 3) continuing the story of Bobby is very unlikely. If of it's any consolation, they just finished work on a remake of "Food of the Gods"(2010). Look it up in www.imdb.com or wikipedia.org
-No word about a release date or if it's coming out in theaters, straight to DVD or any other medium.

So there was a remake? There could be a sequel at least to the original. I know Dave DeCoteau planned a remake, but he is really wrong for the material, and I seriously doubt many would even take much notice.
