I loved Fletch but Fletch Lives had me laughin all the way through.
I know everyone thinks Fletch is better then Fletch Lives but I reckon its perfection.

I happen to think that F.2 is quite entertaining...and fun to revisit.

Just wanted to say I agree with the OP.
I enjoy both films, but think Fletch Lives had the funnier script and made me laugh quite a bit more.

It's one of mine too. Back in 1990 a local video store was closing and selling its stock. I was all geared up to go buy Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade but it ended up being sold already, so I picked up Fletch Lives instead because I liked Chevy and I had seen the first Fletch a few years earlier. Fletch Lives was the first movie I ever owned back in the day when most people still rented so I watched it over and over again. It's an old favourite and it still makes me laugh.
