Guy at LA Times

I never noticed this until just today. Watch the scene where Fletch sits down at the office at the very beginning when he is dressed up as the maid and says, "And to top it off I'm on my period." The guy he says this to is the same guy that is seen grabbing a sandwich at the end of the first movie when Frank is on the phone with Fletch in Utah, threatening to give the story to another reporter if he doesn't get the story.

I don't know. What's stranger is that the part is called 'ancient copy boy.' Not sure what that means.

Great catch, it's the same guy. Very cool to have another connection with the two films.
