What About A Sequel???

Taking a Poll to see how many people would like to see a hilarious sequel to this cult classic. I would. What do you think?

Hey, Heavier Traffic, I agree that Flesh Eating Mothers was criminally bad, but all the other films you mentioned, especially Tod Scholtz's Happiness, are all pretty darn good. Certainly far far superiour in every way to FEM, which made Trauma films look sophisticated.

FEM is a bad film, but it's a bad film that entertains, and I've seen far far worse films get released under Troma's title....Criminally bad goes to films like Night of Horror and The Brainsucker...FEM is exactly how schlock horror is supposed to be, and if it had been distributed through Troma(or rereleased) it definitely would have been one of their better non-Kaufman directed flicks...

I agree and I think that's what the creators intended, they knew this film wasn't going to be oscar material or anything remotely close, I think they just wanted to make a bad yet funny film and it worked on that level.

The problem would be that someone making a sequel might want to either write a decent script and hire people who could act or they'd want to do it all tongue in cheek. Part of the humour comes from them all trying their best.

The key would be getting some enthusiastic gore-maker in to ramp the special effects up and then just go for it without throwing a lot of cash at it.
