27 years later, STILL watching it.

This is still one of the best movies of all time.
I just finished watching it again 5 minutes ago and still couldn't hold back the water works.

I think it has something timeless to do with father and son, broken relationships, forgiveness, reconciliation, the afterlife, and heaven, and of course LOVE (love for baseball, love for family, love of dreams).

Couldnt agree more. One of my top 5 alltime and have lost track how many times have seen.

I think you really need to watch multiple times to really appreciate how all you said is interwoven into movie.

The Moon Light Graham scene when Ray meets him on the street in Minn. alone makes the movie.

Still watching. Still loving it. Still moved and inspired by it. Still sobbing like a child throughout the last third of the movie and aching for my father.

Agree completely. It makes me miss my father all the more after watching it, and appreciate him all the more as well. I'd give anything to be able to tell him the things I should have & needed to say to him while he was still alive. It also reinforces my wish to honor his memory by trying to be as decant & caring a man as he was.

Thanks for that. I'm sure you dad would be proud of you today.

My dad has been gone since 2003, and not a day goes by I don't think of him in some way. Makes me happy to hear his quiet wisdom in his head.

I've no doubt your father would be equally proud of you. It gives me joy to note all the little things around me that he would have loved to see, and in fact I almost feel as if I'm noting those things for him, and that he can somehow appreciate them because of that. I feel his presence with me all the time.
