What was the telegram that Groves (was it?) received? It came from Germany and said something about how someone was sterile and never had a baby...?

A US Army special operations team called ALSOS lead by Dutch physicist Samuel Goudschmidt was right at the Allied front lines looking for evidence of the Germany bomb project. They tracked down Heisenberg (Germany's leading physicist) and questioned him. Goudschmidt quickly came to the conclusion that the German's bomb project was not even close to producing a weapon and had the telegram sent to General Groves. The wording was a coded way of communicating this without referring to the bomb directly.
BTW ALSOS is the Greek word for Groves.
