A box-office failure -- deservedly so

This highly-fictionalized account of the effort at Los Alamos to design and build the first atomic bomb was far, far inferior to the Brian Dennehy/David Strathairn made-for-TV film, "Day One," which was accurate except for a few technical glitches. Rarely has such quality talent been wasted on a film as bad as "Fat Man and Little Boy."
