This is when Michelle Pfeiffer was at her hottest.

Would anyone else agree that Michelle Pfeiffer was at her hottest? Michelle is hot in all of her films but i thought she was especially hot in this one.

reply

She was ridiculously hot in FBB, but I might say she was at her hottest in Tequila Sunrise.

But having said that, I think FBB is probably the best movie she has been in.

In Mexico senor, these are the years of sadness.

Pfeiffer was stunningly beautiful and smoulderingly sexy here. Pure old-school glamour and elegance at its best.

"Into the Night" is one of my all time favorite movies that no one else but me seems to have seen, or even heard of for that matter. :)

I am so happy to see someone else mention it. Yay!!

reply

Yes, she is definitely gorgeous in this film. I think she looked best in Tequilla Sunrise and, believe it or not, Grease 2.

reply

I also thought Michelle was at her most smolderingly seductive and classically beautiful here. Her performance was outstanding too; she should have won the Best Actress Oscar that year without a doubt. I can't believe they gave it to Jessica Tandy in Driving Miss Daisy over Pfeiffer's sublime work in The Fabulous Baker Boys.

Hell yeah, Pfeiffer has the most beautiful blue eyes ever. I could just drown in those eyes. And I'm not even straight.

I'm not straight either but would go that way for Michelle Pfeiffer in a heartbeat. She is, in my humble opinion, the perfect woman.

We'll see whose the filthiest person alive! We'll just see!

Pfeiffer was amazing in this movie, the celluloid melted. In my mind, what puts her sex appeal over the top in this movie is the way she sings. Tequila Sunrise was another great movie, and she was definately hot in that, but she does not sing in that movie.

"Come with me if you want to live!"

reply

The Academy voted Jessica Tandy the Oscar that year because they knew she wouldn't be around much longer and they wanted to be nice to the old broad.

All the universe . . . or nothingness. Which shall it be, Passworthy? Which shall it be?

She was so beautiful in this film, this is definately her best performance. She was also gorgeous in scarface and dangerous liaisons.

ditto. into the night is a classic, and she was gorgeous in that as well (like that needs to be said but still)

yeah, this was michelle in her absolute prime. she was just started to make it big after dangerous liasons and then she did this and I believe she got an Oscar nom for both. then she played catwoman in the batman movie, and turned major heads in that role, including mine. i applaud her (and tim burton) for taking what is essentially a 2D cartoon character fleshing her out to be this extremely scarred tragic heartbreaking character all the while being VERY sexual, erotic and powerful. she is still easily the best catwoman on film to date, sorry Hathaway fans but its clearly the truth so you can go suck it. just cuz something is new doesn't make it better. however by the late 90's she started fadeing but she has in recent years made a comeback of sorts, though personally, while she is still a very beautiful older woman, she will always be at her most hottest in the late 80's all through the 90's. but it is true, this woman has always been beautiful even in her very early days doing TV and small roles. shes just a classic beauty with a style and elegance that many starlets today just don't have.

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

She has a Good Heart. She'll Always be Hot to Me. ((-;

She was Pacino's Femme Fatale in "Scarface."

And she (and Susan Sarandon, and Cher) were not half-bad in "Witches of Eastwick" though the movie sucked.

for me, here is the ranking of her hotness

1--TEQUILA SUNRISE

2--FABULOUS BAKER BOYS

3--ONE FINE DAY

4-- everything else, including scarface.
guys, i understand why you cite scarface but really bro, her hair was way too blonde in that and it washed her out bad. she looked pasty white. not to mention she was way younger, and tended to look better around 30+ after she lost that baby face. she's way hotter with those milf angles to her face

(also, i think by 1988 she had perfected the makeup mix for her coloring. just a thought)

Once there was a Hushpuppy, and she lived with her Daddy in the bathtub.

She IS stunning in this, especially when she wears that red top. Ooh la la!

I've long said that pretty/beautiful/cute women are at their peak between the ages of 30-34 and Michelle was approaching the smack-dab middle of that range when she filmed this.
