I still haven't forgiven Terry Jones for this movie.

He wrote a wonderful book called The Saga of Erik the Viking, and I was looking forward to the movie after reading the book out loud to my kids. The movie was unrelated to the book. It was like a slap in the face to read in the credits that the movie was not related to the book, but that "It did help with sales." Ugh.

Nnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooo, actually, it reads he "hopes it helps with the sales".

And as you said, it is unrelated, so there is nothing to forgive, especially as the thing you want to forgive is the unreletedness itself.

So your post is invalid.

I agree. In fact I find reimagining of books to film quite refreshing.

Your's sincerely, General Joseph Liebgott
