How do you know that the name of the guitar solo is heat of the night? Is there a mp3 file to download? I know its not on any of the soundtracks and I would really like to get it. Thanks.

It's Track 8 (Heat of the Night) on the soundtrack Eddie and the Cruisers : Unreleased Tapes . You can find it there.
However, there are 2 different versions in the film....
