Meaning of the Title?

Maybe I am missing something blindingly obvious but could someone explain the relevance of the title please? I just don't get it.............. :o)

It refers to an ancient Chinese remedy for male impotence. I'm guessing that the "tea" may be a thick concoction more like soup. Neither the film nor the book it's based on talks much about it, other than mentioning that the young Chinese-American wife sends off to China for it to treat her husband. This is an interesting, off-beat film that is worth watching, imho.

Very good story. Worth watching even without knowing the meaning of the title.

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.

It's the payoff on how to keep romantic interest in the you love. It's mentioned at the end of the film.

It's essentially advice that you should do anything you can to get yourself interested in the one you love, because that'll help hold you together.

Thanks for explaining that.
