Would you make the same choice after knowing someone only one day?

I've loved this movie since i was a kid. But i just realized that Valerie chose to leave her life and everything to follow Mac...after knowing him one day! I mean he is sweet and i had such a crush on him. But it seems like they fell in love so fast.

He plays the piano, they talk, sleep together, get arrested, and then they live happily ever after. lol still love the movie though!

ps: am i the only one that would have taken the cat with me? lol
