This comes from a 1988 interview with EARTH GIRLS director Julian Temple in "American Film" magazine:
He used the no-talent postergirl Angelyne as a chesty stage prop in one scene. "She doesn't really do anything, but in Hollywood a lot of people are in her position," says Temple, who somehow concluded that Angelyne was "the patron saint of Los Angeles."
I hear she's currently running for mayor of Hollywood - if she doesn't really do anything, that sounds like a good position for her.

Ha! It was one of the biggest jokes around LA and Hollywood at the time, she paid for a bunch of billboards around town and no one knows what she does or what her "talent' is. I also saw her drving around town in a pink corvette a bunch of times.
