Zakes Mokae as Stanley

He was the best character in the film. He changes as the film progresses and in the final scene illustrates how the fight against Apartheid might continue in South Africa.

Hope is indeed the preserve of those in power for they have access to the system enough to hope for its change.

I found the film so-so. What was interesting was the rhetoric of the Afrikaaners in the film and how prevails in today's world in terms of relations between western governments and Muslims who they are freely labelled terrorists.
