Christopher Lloyd

This was a great little comedy...Christoper Lloyd was outstanding!

Agreed, it's hilarious. Don't get me wrong, all of the actors were very good in their roles. But Lloyd has a way of stealing every scene because you really believe he's this uptight neat freak who doesn't want to accept that something's wring with him. And he manages to make his character very real.

I agree. Michael Keaton & Christopher Lloyd definitely stole this movie.

The scene when he's visiting his wife and starts talking to his daughter. Watch his body language and hand motions. Absolutely fantastic work.

I've always been a big fan of Christoper Lloyd & think that he's one of the best character actors of all time. The man can do almost anything. He can be really funny & likable like he was in the Dream Team & Back to the Future or play really convincing scary dudes like the Klingon commander in Star Trek 3 & Judge Doom in Rodger Rabbit. A very talented man. I hope we get to see him in a few more big flicks before he retires.

He's one of my favorite actors and he's pretty talented, always a show stealer. He truly captures who the character is supposed to be in all of his roles, whether its bad or good. There doesnt seem to be retirement for actors/actresses anymore...most of them work up until they unfortunately die. Whether it be big or small parts.

He had a great role in this. Real good, but I'll always know him from Back to the Future.

Christopher Lloyd is sooooooooo funny in this movie. He is one of the GREATEST character actors of all time.

As we all know, Christopher Lloyd was on Taxi. Without Lloyd and Danny Devito, Taxi would have been cancelled the first season. In addition to acting, Christopher Lloyd produced a few shows of the sitcom Frasier. I don’t know if it was coincidence, but all of the Frasier shows produced by Lloyd were so funny… I’d would record them to watch over and over.

The Christopher Lloyd involved in Frasier is a different person.

Duh! Thank for letting me know about the other Christopher Lloyd who was involved with the Frasier sitcom. I've been telling this lie for years and would have continued.

I did not see this thread till after i started one praising him already. He was absolutely hilarious in this movie, even when he wasnt saying anything, just the expression on his face made me laugh. Hilarious. Great movie.!!

I need to constantly post on IMDB/yes i am a loser.

The opening of the movie, with him pretending to be a doctor, is really a good joke. You believe he is, because Chris makes you believe that he believes it. Then when you discover he's really a patient, it's a great moment. Not a Keyser Söze moment, but still....

He really has some of the best lines, too, especially in the opening "group therapy" scene. My favorite is:

"This is not okay. This is Brian's cupcake. Every day an innocent man is deprived of his dessert and we sit here and do nothing."

I know this is off topic, but the Taxi episode where the 'what does a yellow light mean' scene was the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life. Mr. Lloyd should have won the Emmy for that.

At first it is funny. But then it gets old and boring real fast on repeat viewings.

I have it on DVD and have to skip though that whenever I watch it.
