I really love this movie and put it very high up on the list of greatest comedies of all time. I dont stop laughing throughout this entire movie. The cast is supurb especially Christopher Lloyd! If you haven't seen this movie I highly suggest you do so, you will not be dissapointed. 10/10!
I just watched this last night for the first time. I literally laughed once throughout this movie, when Christopher Lloyd was rearranging the shirts because someone put a large with the XLs, or something of that nature. I don't mean to be disparaging, but I honestly want to know, what other parts of this movie made people laugh? I love movies, especially comedies. Just yesterday I watched "Evolution" and "Club Paradise." Neither of those movies made me laugh very much, but at least I enjoyed watching them. I can't say the same for The Dream Team. For those of you that liked this movie, please sound off and let me know which parts were supposed to be funny.
I agree with you...this film was amusing but hardly one of the greatest or most underrated of all times. I saw The Dream Team around when it came out and again just recently and I felt the same about back then as I do today. A list of some films that always make me laugh, in no particular order,
This is Spinal Tap Airplane! Blazing Saddles Ghostbusters (the original film) Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Beetlejuice Duck Soup Young Frankenstein The Big Lewboski Sixteen Candles Animal House The Blues Brothers Most anything with Laurel and Hardy The Party A Shot in the Dark Dr. Strangelove The Return of the Pink Panther The Pink Panther Strikes Again Whisky Galore The Ladykillers (the '50's version) Life of Brian Superbad Planes, Trains, and Automobiles The Jerk Dumb and Dumber The Naked Gun movies Easy Money with Rodney Dangerfield
I'd forgotten all about this film! It just popped in my head just now .
i think because the doorbell in the warehouse next door has been set to "row row row your boat ...."
which rang a distant bell with mental illness (just figured out now it was cos of dana carvey in "moving")
thought of discussion on "the jerk" board about "is it pc?"
and then arrived at this film about mental patients!
