I absolutely loved this movie, and Kusturica's other film Underground. I've heard tell that there are 270 minute versions of each movie, but I can't find them? Anyone know where I can get copies with English subtitles?

shareThere is a torrent of the extended edition floating around now. I just finished watching the whole thing. The short 2 hour movie version is kind of wacky because it cuts so much stuff out, but has a magical feeling to it. The extended version is a lot more like an epic mini-series, and each part has its own feel to it. I recommend watching both versions!
shareI just finished watching the 270 minute version. It's the strangest, most beautiful and yet most repulsive and upsetting film I've ever seen. Definitely a masterpiece. I can't IMAGINE this being squeezed into a two and half hour film! Kusturica is a genius. This is my favorite by him.
shareAfter watching the 140 minute version I could easily imagine, cause I have nothing else to compare it too. What I can't imagine is the butchered version of something like Once Upon a Time in America.
