Another "Visigoths are non-white/non-Visigoths are white" movie?

I swear Officer Ponte better have been a WASP - since Ponte can be an Anglo-Saxon surname.
Cause if he was Spanish then I lost my love for this movie...

Again this is more Mary Beltran - university of Wisconsin who for some reason idiots hired - nonsense...
In her world, Lopezes, Sanchezes, Gomezes, Rodriguezes - surnames of Germanic origin via the Visigoths - Germanic tribe that conquered Spain -say "bro" the most and "bro" is a Visigothic word, and Visigothic girls are the most broish, and Visigoths aren't white
Riveras, non-Visigoths are the complete opposite...

What a stupid belief. Does Mary Beltran know how her times tables?

Now in all fairness, to Spike's credit - the Spanish characters don't reveal their last names. They could be Riveras and Delgados for all we know...
But if they're Lopezes and Ramirezs, and I have a very bad feeling - unless Nick Gomez considers himself white, the director of "new Jersey Drive", then I'm sorry this is a dumb movie...
So it seems the Visigoths in this movie act ghetto and are non-white, but clearly Hispanic Officer Ponte is all white... seriously, Spike?
You couldn't make the officer a Lopez?
Lopezes and Guzmans are that way, not Riveras or Delgados

I'm a Rivera myself.

WTF? Do you thing that a Lopez in todays Spain are any more or less White than a Rivera? Spanish people are Mediterranean White, like Italians. Yes, there where Germanic people in Spain, but after almost 2000 years, do you think you can tell them apart by name?

The people depicted here are from South America anyway, so they most lively have all kinds of Native American admixture.
