Is it just me or...

I seem to recall this movie having a different ending the first time I watched it. If I remember correctly, Hay Wong Hoi shot Detective Li just as Ah Jong grabbed his gun, Jong fired off a couple of shots and hit Hoi in the shoulder. Hoi and Jong both hit the ground and the former picked up an assault shotgun and hit Jong square in the chest. Jong dies and Jennie cried for him with no response. Does anybody else remember seeing this?
