Why no DVD?
With Kylie being such a big star, I'm really surprised that her first feature film where she's the main star isn't on DVD. In fact, it's only around now on an out-of-print VHS. Although I think this movie does get very slow and dull in some parts, I mostly enjoy it. Some scenes are really great, like Lola's stay in the correctional facility and at her scenes at "Auntie's" house, and I love the ending, too. It's a sweet movie that relies on a simple story rather than the overuse of CGI special effects. I'm a Kylie fan, and I though Kylie's efforts at acting here were really good considering she'd only been a soap opera star and a pop singer until the Delinquents.
I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way.
