If you liked Williams' role, you should check out his Law&Order episode

It's a season 9 episode oF Law&Order:SVU called Authority:

and its overall theme has some interesting similarities.

In the episode, Williams basically plays a similar role to the one from the movie, but he's a skillful manipulative sociopath here, who supposedly wants to teach people how to think for themselves, instead of being an endearing professor who truly wants to teach his students how to think.

It's actually a pretty interesting episode. It's not hard to tell why Williams accepted the role. Also, the Milgram experiment is a major theme as well.
