Marlon Brando anachronism?

Wasn't this movie set in the 50's? And Keating was doing early 70's Brando Godfather impersonations?

No. That's more a Brando circa "On the Waterfront" impersonation. "I coulda been a contender!"

He was impersonating Brando, as Mark Anthony, in Julius Caesar (1953) with James Mason and John Gielgud. Brando frequently consulted Gielgud on how to deliver the verse during filming.
