When Rae shoots Ben the dog :-( and the sound and the blood coming through, there was no need to see him pinned onto the door, Dead calm is a great film but that scene I hate and what's more neither Rae or John seem upset - not even Rae at the time.

I think she had more important things to worry about at the time.

The saddest scene for me was Rae trying to get a hold of John when the power goes completely out on his ship.

The death of the little child was far sadder.

Watching this now and had to pause it after the kid went through the windshield b/c I couldn't control the laughter.
