Movie was made for less than 500 k

The film was shot for less than $500,000 and was filmed in 23 days.

How amazing does this movie look for being so cheaply made? Wow.

Absolutely agree. It looks and feels like so much more went into it. And didn't Lettich and Van Damme basically have to edit it together in post to give it this look and feel? Great job.

this is one of the things about van Damme that in my opinion he gets too little credit for... apparently both Bloodsport and Cyborg were absolute stinkers in their first edits and van Damme rescued them. He certainly knows what sells and how to make sure his skills are used to maximum effect.

The cinematography is extremely lush in this film with regards to the use of light and lenses.

The highlight for me is the absolute abuse of beautiful slow motion. It's my favourite film that uses the effect by far.

Of course the editing is probably the most important part but the in camera stuff is pretty beautiful and the use of locations like old abandoned buildings is tremendously resourceful.
